Full Membership Terms

1. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 or over to join the Slow Run Club Membership.
  • You agree to provide accurate contact and account information and keep it up to date.

2. Membership Fees

  • The membership costs £9.99 per month and renews automatically.
  • Payment is taken through our website checkout.
  • The annual pass option will be non-refundable after the 14-day cooling-off period.
  • We may update pricing or benefits with 30 days’ notice.

3. Cancellation

  • Monthly memberships can be cancelled at any time.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • New members have a 14-day cooling-off period for a full refund.
  • When your membership ends, all points, tiers, and benefits expire immediately. These can be reinstated at Slow Run Club's discretion.

4. Points & Tiers

  • Members start at Tier 1.
  • You earn 1 point per verified run. Some runs may offer double points.
  • Tier thresholds are:
  • Tier 1: 0–9 points
  • Tier 2: 10–21 points
  • Tier 3: 22+ points
  • Points are valid for 6 months. If your points fall below a tier threshold, your tier will adjust.
  • Points may be reinstated if you resubscribe within 6 months of cancelling.

5. Attendance Verification

  • Attendance is logged using a QR code at official Slow Run Club runs.
  • All submissions are checked and may be adjusted or removed if attendance cannot be verified or appears inaccurate or fraudulent.
  • It is the member’s responsibility to check in their attendance at each Slow Run Club session using the designated QR code. If a member fails to scan at the time of the run, they may request retrospective point allocation by emailing holly@slowrunclub.co.uk. Any points added after the run took place are granted solely at the discretion of Slow Run Club and are not guaranteed.

6. Membership Benefits

Tier 1

  • Discounts with selected Manchester partners
  • 10% off Slow Run Club merchandise
  • Early access to events and merchandise

Tier 2

Includes all Tier 1 benefits, plus:

  • 40% off merchandise
  • Free entry to all £3 Slow Run Club events
  • A free pair of socks

Tier 3

Includes all Tier 1 and Tier 2 benefits, plus:

  • An exclusive t-shirt
  • Free entry to all Slow Run Club events
  • Invitations to exclusive Tier 3 events

Exclusive Merchandise for Tier 2 and Tier 3 Members
Members who reach Tier 2 or Tier 3 are entitled to receive exclusive merchandise associated with their tier. Slow Run Club will make reasonable efforts to dispatch exclusive merchandise within 30 days of a member reaching the relevant tier.

All merchandise fulfilment is subject to stock availability. In the event of stock delays or limited quantities, shipping times may be extended. Slow Run Club will provide updates where possible but is not liable for delays caused by manufacturing, supplier issues, or other factors outside our control.

Exclusive merchandise items will be shipped free of charge to the postal address provided by the member. Members are responsible for ensuring their address details are accurate and up to date.

7. Discount Codes & Usage

  • Discounts are provided via unique, personal discount codes.
  • Codes are non-transferable and must not be shared.
  • Sharing or misusing codes may result in suspension or cancellation of your membership.
  • Benefits apply only to Slow Run Club–organised events.
  • Discounts are available at Mattina, Nells, Puresport, Sportsshoes.com and Ellie's Oats.

8. Event Access

  • Free or discounted entry applies only to Slow Run Club events, not third-party events.
  • Event schedules may change or be cancelled.
  • Free entry does not guarantee availability if an event reaches capacity.

9. Conduct & Misuse

Your membership may be suspended or cancelled if:

  • Attendance is falsely reported
  • Discount codes are misused 
  • Behaviour at Slow Run Club activities is unsafe or disrespectful
  • Payments fail and aren’t resolved

Refunds are not provided if membership is cancelled due to misconduct.

10. Data Protection

  • We follow UK GDPR and handle your data responsibly.
  • We collect data to manage your membership, verify attendance, and provide benefits.
  • We only share data when necessary to provide services or comply with the law.
  • You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing holly@slowrunclub.co.uk.

11. Events Outside Our Control

  • We aren’t liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, venue issues, emergencies).
  • When possible, alternative arrangements will be offered.

12. Complaints

If you have a complaint or concern, please email holly@slowrunclub.co.uk and we’ll do our best to help.

13. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms occasionally.
  • Significant changes will be communicated with at least 30 days’ notice.
  • Continued use of the membership after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
